Ski jumping World Cup: Prevc second in Russia

Freund won the event in two series with jumps of 132 and 134 metres to score 260 points, followed by Prevc (131 and 123 metres, 248.5 points) and Joachim Hauer of Norway (133.5 and 134 metres, 243.7 points).

The only other Slovenian to make it to the second round was Anže Lanišek, who finished seventh (130.5 and 125 metres, 232.1 points), which is the best result in the 19-year-old's career.

Freund also leads the World Cup rankings after four events with 305 points, followed by Prevc with 264 and Kenneth Gangnes of Norway with 236.
