Prevc won the event in two series with jumps of 131.5 and 139.5 metres to score 267.4 points.

Austria's Michael Hayböck (130 and 133.5 metres, 260.4 points) finished second and Norway's Johann Andre Forfang (127.5 and 140 metres, 253.8 points) third.

"I had a good wind in the first as well as in the second series, but I still had to do two good jumps," Prevec said in his first comment.

He secured Slovenia the 43rd victory in individual events in the history of the country's ski-jumping and the 51st overall.

His previous podium results this season were all second places, including at the season opener in Germany's Klingenthal in the team event and yesterday in Nizhny Tagil.

His today's success was followed up by Anže Lanišek, who finished fourth (123.5 and 135 metres, 253.6 points). This is the 19-year-old's best result after he finished 7th on Saturday.

Severin Freund, who is defending the title of the World Cup winner from the previous season, finished 15th (124 and 104.6 metres).

Next week the ski-jumping caravan is moving to Engelberg, Switzerland.
