Slovenia ranks 9th in terms of employees' labour and vocational skills, which are considered mid-level, and 20th in global knowledge skills, which are associated with knowledge workers in professional, managerial or leadership roles that require creativity and problem solving.

It places at or near the middle of the rankings in the ability to enable and attract talent, and among the top 30 in its ability to grow and retain talent.

The ranking has been compiled by Adecco, the Swiss human resources group, in cooperation with graduate business school INSEAD.

The top countries for talent are Switzerland, Singapore and Luxembourg.
