In what is its fourth issue of commercial papers, Gorenje secured the lowest interest rate to date, at just 2%.

This will help reduce borrowing costs for the Velenje-based group, which also sees the successful issue as testament to investor trust in the group.

A press release issued by the group through the Ljubljana Stock Exchange said that 62 investors had participated in the issue.

A second round of the issue will follow from 10 February to 1 December, as part of which another EUR 6m will be available.
