The facilities offer below-market interest and longer maturity and hence qualify as state aid, SID said.

Four are targeted specifically at SMEs, offering loans of EUR 30,000 to EUR 10m for working capital, investments, R&D and innovations.

The fifth programme is open to companies of all sizes. Loans of EUR 200,000 to EUR 18.75m are available for technological and development projects.

SID banka said the facilities cover a "gap in the market" and offer financing conditions comparable to those available to companies abroad.
