Slovenians becoming more aware of energy efficiency issues

Nekategorizirano

The 2015 REUS energy efficiency survey found that 83% of Slovenian households that took part in the poll considered efficient energy use in their decisions. The share has increased by 3 percentage points compared to 2012.

Moreover, 77% of the 1,006 households participating are interested in information about efficient energy use, compared to 68% in 2012.

Households are the most curious about electricity conservation, actual energy use, energy conservation in heating and energy-efficient appliances.

The survey also found that there was a lot of room for improvement in energy consumption in households. One of the simplest ways to reduce energy consumption is to replace regular light bulbs with energy-efficient lamps or LED diodes.
