Rowing: Hrvat takes bronze at Euro
The runner up from the World Championships held third place throughout Sunday's race, crossing the line behind Slovak Lukaš Babač and Germany's Konstantin Steinhübel.
The 29-year-old has been left to hold the rowing torch for Slovenia after the retirement of legends Iztok Čop and Luka Špik following the London Games in 2012.
Slovenia's only other competitor at the European Championships in Brandenburg was Gašper Fistravec, who finished 13th in the men's sculls.
