Organised in conjunction with the Slovenian Film Archives, the weekly shows will show films portraying life in Slovenia across various periods of the 20th century.

Five short films will be screened on opening night: Balkans Roulette (1997) by Zdravko Barišić, Coupon (1984) by Igor Pediček, Short Ode to the Homeland (1999) by Boris Palčič, American Dream (1992) by Boris Jurjaševič and National Dress (1975) by Mako Sajko.

The screenings dedicated to 25 years of Slovenian independence will be held every Monday in May and June.
