Non-financial companies accounted for the bulk or 74.3% of the dividend payouts, with EUR 407m worth of transactions recorded.

The state sector contributed EUR 135m to this sum, followed by payments abroad (EUR 98m or 24.1%) and to households (EUR 76m or 18.7%).

Financial firms paid out EUR 141m worth of dividends or 25.7% of the total amount. The state sector also accounted for the largest part in this segment with EUR 46m or 32.7%.
