June is the fifth consecutive month which saw monthly and yearly decreases in registered unemployment. The figure fell by 2.4% over May and 9.5% over June 2015.

In May, there were 102,289 registered unemployed, which is 3% less than in April and 9% less than May 2015.

The first five months saw an average 110,434 registered unemployed, down 6.8% over the same period last year.

The Slovenian Employment Service will release full unemployment statistics on Wednesday.
