Joblessness fell across all statistical regions, standing the lowest in Gorenjsko at 7.5%, while standing above average in six of the twelve statistical regions, all of them in the eastern cohesion region.

The number persons in employment increased from April by 0.5% to more than 817,600. The biggest increase was recorded in accommodation and food services, by 1.8% to more than 34,100.

The number of men in employment increased by 0.5% to around 447,200 and the number of women by 0.4% to around 370,500.

The number of the self-employed dropped by 0.1% from April to over 87,000.
