Revoz, which employed a workforce of 2,100 at the end of last year, is planning on employing 100 workers in September and an additional 400 by the end of this year due to increase in production of the Twingo and Smart Forfour models and the start of production of the new Clio 4.

The Clio 4 production is set to start in February 2017 and might bring even more employment growth. Before that the plant will need to be fitted with a new assembly line.

The production of the Clio is however not new to Revoz - they used to make two older models between 1993 and 2015.

The company's management is to change as well. Raynald Joly, who used to be in charge of Renault China, will take over as chairman on 1 August. He will replace Patrice Haettel, who has been promoted to a senior Renault post.
