Third Metallurgist Day in Ravne na Koroškem

Event was organised in the presence of Slovenian Olympic athletes and top sportsman, Damir Dugonjič (a local), the Slovenian biathlon team, FC Fužinar and special guest, Sara Isakovič.

The sporting and entertainment event began with a traditional football tournament and then guests were later welcomed by the President of the Board of Directors, Anton Chernykh and the Mayor of Ravne na Koroškem, Tomaž Rožen. In cooperation with the Slovenian Olympic Committee, SIJ group organised a Mini Olympics for children, which included Olympic protocol such as the Olympic hymn, a torch and flag, and with the children competing against the athletes. In addition to the Mini Olympics, there were art workshops for children, a surfing simulator and body zorbing for adults.

The event was hosted by Anja Hlača Ferjančič and Gašper Koruzni, who made everybody laugh with their witty comments and, for musical entertainment, everyone was enthralled by a band from Koroška, the Farty Animals. A special highlight of the event was the draw for a trip to Rio de Janeiro for three employees who travelled on the Olympic fan airplane to spend a week in Rio de Janeiro to cheer on Slovenia's Olympic athletes. There were two other surprises: the first was Slovenian singer Alya, the winner of the Slovenian music festival, Melodije morja in sonca 2016, and the other was a group of real samba dancers from Brazil.
