Slovenia's 152 m2 showcase will revolve around promoting the country as a sport destination, the tourism and investment promotion agency SPIRIT said.

The highlight will come on Tuesday, when Slovenia hosts a "champions' brunch" for the media with Maze and Špik, both the winners of multiple Olympic medals.

Great Britain is an increasingly important source market for Slovenian tourism.

Brits accounted for about 5% of all foreign overnight stays in the first nine months of this year, with their number rising by 13% year-on-year.
