Overall World Cup leader Martin Fourcade of France won the pursuit at Pokljuka on Saturday after having dominated the sprint on Friday. He edged Emil Hegle Svendsen of Norway by six seconds, with Russian Anton Shipulin third, 6.2 seconds adrift.

Laura Dahlmeier of Germany won the women's Biathlon World Cup pursuit race at Pokljuka on Saturday, adding to her sprint win on Friday. Second place went to Kaisa Makäräinen of Finland, with Eva Puškarčikova of the Czech Republic third.
