Gina was backed by almost 2,400 people and the team's goal of collecting EUR 50,000 was reached in less than eight hours after the start of the campaign.

The Goat Story team, led by entrepreneur Anže Miklavec, raised over EUR 450,000 with the support of over 10,600 people for the innovative coffee mug at the end of 2014.

Their latest success is Slovenia's third most successful campaign at Kickstarter.

FlyKly remains the record holder with over $700,000 raised for their smart battery-powered hub for bicycle wheels in 2013, while maker of electronic devices MAG-LEV Audio secured more than $550,000 for its innovative levitating turntable in November.

Gina received the most support from North America, Australia, Germany and England. The first users should receive the new product in April.

Gina combines the classic method of coffee making with the latest technology. With an integrated smart scales and a mobile application, it enables the user to precisely control the process of coffee making. It enables three ways to make coffee: a pour-over, cold-drip or immersion.

Designer Luka Pirnat used high-quality materials such as ceramics, stainless steel and hand-blown glass in creating the machine, which was developed in cooperation with several Slovenian coffee connoisseurs.

"Life is too short for us not to at least enjoy a good cup of coffee," the Goat Story team says, announcing new projects for 2017.
