Johnson and Erjavec will debate bilateral political and economic ties, migrations and other topical international and EU issues, the Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday.

The British minister will be in Slovenia to mark the 25th anniversary of the British recognition of an independent Slovenia.

He and Erjavec will address a special reception that the British Embassy will organise at the National Gallery in the evening.

The former mayor of London, Johnson took over the top diplomatic job in the British government after the Brexit referendum. This will be his first visit to Slovenia in his capacity as foreign minister.
