Owner to invest EUR 20m in car parts maker GKN Driveline
According to director Peter Smole, GKN Driveline Slovenija, which currently employs around 380 people, will open around 100 new jobs in the next two years.
The company will be hiring metalworkers, mechanical engineers and metallurgists, Smole said, noting that sales were up in the last three years at an average annual rate of 7%.
Exporting 93% of its production, the company is strategically oriented towards central and eastern Europe, as well as the Balkans.
GKN Driveline Slovenija, which has been owned by GKN since December 2009, generated almost EUR 69m in net sales revenues in 2015, making a net profit of 6.34m.
