The exercise, dubbed Vanguard Proof, is organised by members of the logistics brigade with one of its main goals being to boost cooperation and understanding between both armies, a release from the army said.

The central part of the training will be held between 19 and 23 March at Poček and the neighbouring villages of Petelinje and Slovenska vas as well as at the Cerklje airfield in the south-east.

The exercise will involve training in the development of tactical expertise and procedures, development of interoperability and exchange of experiences in logistic support.
