Slovenia will be promoted under the auspices of the SPIRIT public agency for entrepreneurship, internationalization, foreign investments and technology with the slogan Slovenia - Your Green, Active and Healthy Partner.

"We will present organic dairy products, highest quality fruit and vegetable products, organic cooking oils, wines from different parts of Slovenia, organic aronia, hand-made chocolate, highest quality juices, non-alcohol and alcohol drinks, and the Ningbo Expo 2017 protocol wine - Teran from the Vinakras Sežana wine maker," SPIRIT said.

China - CEEC Investment and Trade Expo 2017, organised by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, Zheijang Provincial Government and Ningbo Municipal People's Government, is seen as one of the most important platforms of economic cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries.

The Slovenian pavilion, which spans over an area of 120 square metres, has been labelled by the Ningbo Expo 2017 organising committee one of the most attractive pavilions. It is in the shape of a double circle, with the outer part being used for product exhibition and the inner one for the presentation of Slovenia and its companies, SPIRIT added.

Last year, SPIRIT took part in the exhibition under the slogan Slovenia, Your Hi-Tech, Innovative and Winter Sport Partner as a partner of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics helping China develop winter sports.

"By participating in Ningbo Expo 2017 we are trying to increase Slovenian exports to China and bilateral economic cooperation," SPIRIT explained.

The China - CEEC Investment and Trade Expo 2017 will take place from 9 to 12 June.
