Daily "Delo" unhappy about SSH policy at Luka Koper
The SSH representative did not grant a discharge of liabilities to two supervisors of the six-strong board and to the management. "Despite the exceptional results, which are the envy of nearby [ports of] Trieste and Rijeka."
"SSH's arguments that Luka could do better and that the good results are an effect of a general conjuncture in shipping are an insult to an average mind that can logically think and compare Koper's operations to those of other ports."
According to the paper, the case exposes the way of thinking and the reach of SSH staff: "If the management of the top holding cannot assess such a simple issue with common sense ... how can it discuss pricing policies for Maersk and Daimler-Benz or logistics knots in managing goods on the long way from Shanghai to Vienna?"
All things considered, it seems like a subtle action against the company which does not want to yield to behind-the-stage plans, the paper says in the commentary entitled Attack on Port.
