Sajeta celebrating 18 years of creativity at Soča river

The music segment of the festival, expanded the most on the celebratory occasion, will feature from Wednesday through Saturday 16 acts on the traditional riverside stage alone.

Sajeta's programme is known for traversing musical styles, with organisers noting that quality was also not allowed to suffer on account of the quantity this year.

They are particularly looking forward to Thursday's performance by New York minimalist pioneer Phill Niblock, who will present his take on contemporary classical music.

Already on Tuesday, an exhibition of video installations being made by foreign and domestic authors will open at the Tolmin cinema theatre.

Also on the programme are a documentary film screenings, a photo exhibition and eleven workshops, including a selection of events for children.
