He was quick to add that the government had ensured a reliable business environment to open the Slovenian economy to the world. The prime minister also expressed a wish for good investors, who will respect green Slovenia, to come to the country.
Ahmet Bayraktar, the head of the Odelo-Farba group owned by the Turkish Bayraktarlar Holding, meanwhile explained that the new facility cost the group EUR 3.7m, and that further investment in Odelo would total EUR 23m in three years.
Odelo, which employs around 1,300 people, plans to generate EUR 180m in turnover this year, after which the figure is to rise to EUR 200m in 2019 or 2020.
Cerar broke the ground for the facility covering 10,000 square metres last year.
