NATO commander ship to sail in Koper port on Friday

The purpose of the visit is to strengthen cooperation between the Slovenian Armed Forces and other NATO naval capabilities, the Slovenian Defence Ministry said on Wednesday.

The Slovenian army will welcome the ship's crew and a meeting of Royal Navy Commander and HMS Enterprise Commander Justin Hains and the commander of the 430th naval division of the Slovenian army, Roman Anžič, is scheduled.

The multi-role survey vessel with 72 crew members took over as the commander ship of the NATO Mine Counter-Measures Group Two last month.

Visitors will be welcome on board the ship at the Luka Koper passenger terminal on Saturday between 9 AM and 11 AM.

The ship will stay in Koper until Monday.
