Car assembly plant Revoz gets new CEO
After about a year at the helm of Revoz, Joly is to join the management team of the Renault factory in Paris.
Ozkan said that he accepted the job with great pleasure, as the Slovenian factory was known as one of the best within the group.
"I'm certain that by using the strategy which has been in place for years, we can maintain the long-term future of Revoz," he was quoted in a company press release as saying.
Ozkan has previously worked at Oyak-Renault, the Turkish subsidiary of Renault, which employs more than 3,500 people and produces about 360,000 vehicles a year. He is an expert in industrial engineering. He graduated in engineering in Turkey and underwent additional training in France, according to the release.
He came to Novo mesto after the factory successfully launched the production of the Clio 4, which is now at full capacity. The company, which also produces the Twingo and the Smart Fourfour models, said it was approaching a production of 900 vehicles a day.
Furthermore, Revoz expects production to increase by 30% or 40%, mostly on the back of its Clio 4 production.
This has also resulted in an increase in employees; in addition to its 3,400 employees and the company also hires additional workers through a job agency and continues to recruit new staff.
