The Slovenian companies included in the 2017 report focussing on the fastest-growing and most dynamic SMEs in Europe are gaming products provider Interblock, wood-processing machinery supplier Ledinek, ice-cream manufacturer Leone, footwear retailer Mass and stainless steel product manufacturer MDM.

The companies generate an average EUR 39m in annual revenue and have increased their staff numbers by an average 17% over the past two years.

Most of the companies listed in the report are from the sector of manufacturing and engineering (20%), which also leads in terms of annual growth in revenue (171%).

To make the list the companies need to be active, privately-owned and registered in the EU. They also need to post between 20 and 30 million euro in revenue a year.
