The competition will take place between 30 January and 10 February in Ljubljana, with two matches back-to-back on each match day at Arena Stožice. Tickets are available in two categories, €7 and €5, one ticket valid for both matches on that day. The first person to buy the tickets was the UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin who bought it for the opening day.

Ticket sales details were presented during a media conference in Ljubljana, which was attended by the Slovenian FA (NZS) President Radenko Mijatović, head coach of the Slovenia futsal team Andrej Dobovičnik, UEFA Futsal EURO 2018 ambassador Milenko Ačimović and NZS grassroots coordinator Rajko Korent.

UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin was not able to attend the press conference, but sent the following message:

"When the idea was born a few years ago, many people doubted we could be successful in our attempt to bring the UEFA Futsal EURO to Slovenia. But since then UEFA Futsal EURO has become a reality in Slovenia and it makes me extremely pleased that we are going to fill the Arena Stožice together. I am honoured I was able to buy the first tickets for the game between Slovenia and Serbia and I believe that the fans will make sure that all of Europe and the qualified teams will remember this tournament because of a wonderful atmosphere. Be a part of the spectacle yourself."

Tickets are available online through the Slovenian UEFA Futsal EURO 2018 website futsaleuro2018.si/tickets/ and eventim.si, while tickets are also available at Petrol gas stations in Slovenia and the official FA Store in the centre of Ljubljana.

The entire tournament match schedule is available here. In the group stage, Slovenia face Serbia at 18:00 on 30 January and Italy at 20:45 on 3 February.

NZS president Radenko Mijatović is convinced the tournament in Slovenia is going to be a success: "We were successful in organising the football UEFA Under-17 EURO in 2012, but the challenge ahead of us is bigger in every aspect. But we are ready for the start of the tournament."

While Slovenia has one of the toughest groups at the tournament, Mijatović said the hosts will not give up: "The draw was not good for us, we got a group with two very strong teams. But Slovenia are one of the top eight teams in Europe and I think the lads are up for the challenge. I expect us to go through to the quarter-finals with the help of the fans and the media. Help us create a positive atmosphere, through which we will bring as many fans as possible to Stožice."

Charity game against Portugal the final test before the tournament

The brand new UEFA Futsal EURO pitch will be revealed on 6 December as Arena Stožice hosts its final test before the tournament - a friendly game between Slovenia and Portugal. Tickets will be available for €5 and all gate receipts will go towards a charity cause - humanitarian project Sponsorship in Slovenia (Botrstvo), an organization that helps children in need.
