Invest in Slovenia has attracted quite some interest with more than 100 companies from the UK and Slovenia scheduled to attend.

Aleš Cantarutti, a state secretary at the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, will open the conference by listing the opportunities for investment and ways the Slovenian government can help potential investors.

In addition to Cantarutti, the conference will be addressed by Vedrana Jelušić Kašić, EBRD regional director, and Bank Assets Management (BAMC) Company CEO Imre Balogh.

Meanwhile, Robert Appleby of Titus Plus, Michele Raba of Apollo, Miha Košak of Emona Capital, Janez Škrubej of BAMC and Lidia Glavina, Slovenian Sovereign Holding boss, will discuss business case studies in a panel discussion.

The British-Slovenian Chamber of Commerce, which hosts the conference with SPIRIT and the Economy Ministry, said that Slovenia is becoming a new investment destination that can offer great opportunities for investment in sectors that focus on smart specialisation.
