BAMC selling four Maribor hotels
The call for bids, published last week, refers to the four-star Hotel Arena with a smaller three-star annexe, the four-star Hotel Bolfenk, the three-star Hotel Videc, and a building with 30 self-catering apartments that was built in 2010 and never used.
The portfolio, which also includes 35,000 m2 of land, is on sale as a whole, but the bad bank said some of the assets may also be sold separately as needed.
After the bankruptcy of Smučarski center Pohorje in 2014, the hotels have been managed by local hotel operator Terme Maribor.
The hotels are located right on the ski slopes, with the biggest, Hotel Arena, situated at the bottom of the piste that hosts the women's Skiing World Cup.
