Paper critical of state of Slovenian motorways

It is said that the managers of construction companies that built the motorways have stolen quite a lot of construction money, which is why Slovenia got so little.

"Leaving this aside, I would rather see ribbons being cut again than the prevailing apathy that nothing can be done, and surprise over the fact that the public demands a third motorway lane and a fast rail."

At this point, the biggest achievement in transport in Slovenia is that the European commissioner for transport, a Slovenian, is taking part in discussions, saying much about nothing along with other "wise men" sitting at the table.

Meanwhile, "transport continues to be influenced by snow, bora and dirty shovels," the paper concludes under the headline Snow, Bora and Shovels.
