Held under the patronage of Speaker Milan Brglez, the event will focus on open and inclusive dialogue about internet-related policies in the region.

These policies will be discussed at the opening panel today, featuring MEPs and MPs from the region, non-profits Internet Society (ISOC) and the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), as well as business executives and NGO representatives.

The second panel today will focus on digital skills and life-long learning in data-drive economies, internet neutrality, and digital rights and obligations.

Cyber security, digital economy and data security will be in focus on Thursday, according to digital society institute Digitas, which organises the conference.
