Hidria's system started being used in their diesel vehicles this year by Volkswagen, Seat, Škoda and Audi and allows them to already meet stricter emission rules that will enter into force 2020, the company wrote.

Head of Hidria's Dieseltec Tolmin unit Rudi Kragelj explained that he company has protected Optymus PSG with 15 international patents. It invested over EUR 25m into the system in the last five years and also developed the robotised production line alone.

The company expects that one in three modern diesel cars in Europe will soon be equipped with the system.
