Tourism in Slovenia at record heights: Seize the investment opportunity

In 2017, seaside municipalities - these accounted for more than 20 % of all tourist nights - generated 11 % more nights than the previous year (source: SURS). Based on the increasing number of tourist nights spent in mountain resorts, the hotels and apartments in the Maribor Pohorje Ski Resort make a wonderful investment opportunity. These include Wellness Hotel Arena, especially popular for its location immediately next to the ski resort, uncompromised comfort, and mouth-watering food; Wellness Hotel and Apartments Bolfenk, which also boasts a ski-to-door access; Hotel and Annex Videc, praised among skiers and hiking enthusiasts; and Apartment Building "Pohorske Terase" with 30 holiday apartments.

Also highly frequented by tourists are health and city resorts, hence the beautifully maintained villa intended for a congress centre and hotel in the Celje city centre. Even though Vila Savinja is now an office building, it still functions as a congress centre and hotel that can accommodate and cater to a large number of guests. The building was completely renovated in 2010.
