FM discusses economic cooperation with Russian minister
The Foreign Ministry said in a press release that the meeting focused above all on economic cooperation between the two countries.
Trade between Russia and Slovenia increased by 15% last year and the data for the first half of 2018 is very optimistic, the press release said.
Positive trends must be encouraged, the release said, adding that the existing inter-governmental commission focusing on trade, economy, science and technology can help a lot in this respect via joint projects.
The two ministers, who both attended the ceremony at Russian Chapel, welcomed the boost in cooperation in other fields, adding that cooperation should be expanded in education and digitalisation, according to the press release.
