Social dancing is a popular way of spending a night out in Ljubljana and salsa has for many years been the most popular social dance, taught by a number of the city's dance schools. The Open-Air Salsa events, which occasionally also feature other Latin dance styles, have for years been organized by two of the city's dance schools in collaboration with the Plato café and restaurant.
