According to statistics released by Kolosej cinemas, which presented 147 films in 2004, Slovenians prefer epic spectaculars and animal comic strip characters to superheroes. The controversial The Passion of the Christ secured 8th place (3rd in the USA) just ahead of Fahrenheit 9/11 (17th in the USA).
