A million #ifeelsLOVEnia hashtags on social networks


The Two Million Reasons Why We Feel Slovenia campaign, which invites Slovenians and tourists to discover hidden gems, was declared the best campaign on social networks at the regional media trends conference Sempl in Portoro┼ż in November.

"One million hashtags points to the exceptional success of the campaign. It has attracted numerous visitors and locals, who shared their feelings inspired by various locations in Slovenia," STO director Maja Pak told the STA.

The campaign, which takes place on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and the portal, was launched by the STO last June. It has resulted in an additional 600,000 posts with the #ifeelsLOVEnia hashtag.

The posts have reached 133 million internet users, with the average daily number of posts standing at 2,830, and the total number of engagements related to the shared photographs and videos reaching 14 million.

As the goal is to reach two million #ifeelsLOVEnia hashtags, the STO will continue with the campaign this year with an emphasis on the macro destinations Alpine and Mediterranean Slovenia, Ljubljana and central Slovenia.
