Slovenia 31st on Bloomberg Innovation Index

Slovenia, which did not make the list last year, scored 64.11 points out of the 100 possible, which compares to 87.38 scored by top ranked South Korea.

Slovenia did best in tertiary education efficiency, placing second among the 60 countries. It placed 8th in terms of manufacturing value added, faring worst in terms of patent activity, in 60th spot.

Bloomberg published the index for the seventh year running, taking into account seven criteria. The list of 60 most innovative countries was selected from among 200 countries considered.
