Since 2004, Slovenia received EUR 9.2bn in structural and investments funds from the EU and since 2014, the EU has provided structural funding equivalent to 29% of all public investments in the country.

As part of the Juncker's investment plan to boost the economy, additional EUR 941m in additional funding was approved for nearly 7,400 SMEs in Slovenia.
