The Slovenia Restaurant Awards 2019 said in press release before the award ceremony this evening that Hiša Franko was named the best restaurant of the Alpine region, Pri Lojzetu was the best among establishments in the Mediterranean and Kras regions.

The best restaurant in the Pannonian lowlands of noth-eastern Slovenia is Hiša Denk in Zgornja Kungota, while the Ljubljana-based Restavracija JB is the best restaurant of central Slovenia.

The best hotel restaurant award went to Restavracija Grad Otočec, while Domačija Belica in Medana was declared the best newcomer.
