The event, which gathers many fans, has so far been limited mainly to the race itself and festivities with folk music and the usual drinking sessions, which sometimes spoiled the image of the sport. This year, the race is accompanied with a variety of attractive entertainment options, bringing the event to its greatest, yet unseen level. For the second time, Hit Company and their partners, including MTV Adria, will present a great concert after the ski race - The X-plosion of Fun. The entertainment programme will start at 2 p.m. with a contest featuring young DJs. The main "explosion" will begin at 5 p.m. when international Slovenian music star Magnifico is set to appear on the stage, followed by yet another legend - the band Lacni Franz. But this is just the beginning. The highlights of the evening are special guests Asian Dub Foundation and Neneh Cherry. A bit unusual for these suburban London immigrant freedom fighters to accompany the alpine skiing event, but their fans will definitely enjoy the concert, free of charge. The final event will be held at the new Kranjska Gora's Vitranc Hall by Soulfingers. The following day will also offer much fun after the competition, including the pop singer Alya. The attractions for the visitors on that afternoon are: a "freestyle descent" from snowboarders, Funball, and a charity golf competition through the snow.
