The conference will discuss handing down of knowledge in agriculture through generations for the benefit of the sector and communities.

Before the event, the ministry said that agricultural policy measures must complement technological development, new technologies, procedures and methods because this is the only way to boost productivity and ensure long-term food sustainability.

The ministers will talk about ways to lessen the differences in the functioning of the EU's agricultural knowledge and innovation systems and their development after 2021.
