Preddvor is a town situated under the steep slopes of Storzic, with Kokra gorge below it. Both are neat trekking destinations. Another town in the idyllic mountain shield of the Sorsko plain is Jezersko. Apart from being a classic starting point for many mountain tours, it has an enchanting lake and numerous walking paths. There you will also find springs of mineral water and a tuff stone pit, not to mention the highest waterfall in Slovenia - Cedca. Sencur, a village just next to the airport, is famous for its remains from the Roman age. The entire area offers various opportunities for an attractive holiday; you can experience enthusiasms in biking, horse-riding, hiking, swimming or fishing. No wonder that the collective Skofja Loka, Kranj and Kamnik tourist area has recently been introduced by a common name: Carniola, alias ¯The Land of Adventure®.
