The Public Administration Ministry wrote that the relative position of Slovenia had improved a little, including as a result of closer cooperation with relevant institutions, but added that "we still cannot be happy with the published results, since opportunities exist to improve services additionally and get closer to the best practices in Europe".

The ministry assessed significant improvements "could be achieved by giving more priority to digitalisation in general, through more intensive and coordinated efforts by our institutions, targeted development investments, and is some case also through regulatory and organisational changes".
