Adria Airway's licences to be auctioned off on 23 January

Having received five non-binding bids for what has been left of Adria's assets, official receiver Janez Pustatičnik has set the price based on the bids.

It is impossible to assess the value of the assets on the basis of comparable market prices, he explained.

The buyer will have to tackle some issues stemming from Adria's operating licence being revoked when it filed for receivership in September, or else it would not be able to use the assets.

Media reports suggest three Slovenian businessmen are interested in Adria's bankruptcy estate: Joc Pečečnik would buy the entire estate, Izet Rastoder is interested in the AOC - a licence for commercial flights, and Ivo Boscarol has confirmed for the STA he is interested in Adria's flight school.
