The retail sector sentiment rose by a percentage point over the month before, whereas the index in manufacturing was up 0.7 points.

In the services sector and construction the index barely budged, while consumers were more pessimistic, the index dropping by 0.4 points.

While up at the monthly level, business sentiment is almost four percentage points lower than a year ago: all sectors except retail are more pessimistic than in February 2019.
