Slovenia's ski jumper Prevc wins World Cup race in Lillehammer

Prevc (132/125.5 metre) was followed by German Markus Eisenbichler (138/120.5 m) in second place and German Stephan Lehye (130/133 m) in third.

Among other Slovenians, Anže Lanišek finished 11th, Žiga Jelar 20th and Timi Zajc 22nd.

Today's victory puts the number of Slovenia's individual World Cup wins at 69, while the country also bagged ten team wins, with Peter Prevc taking part in all of them.

The last time a Slovenian ski jumper bagged an individual victory was last season, when Prevc's younger brother, Domen Prevc, won in Vikersund in March 2019.

Domen finished 50th today.
