In line with the invitation, published on the web site of the national Agency for Public Legal Records and Related Services at the end of last week, only bids with a security deposit of EUR 15,000 will be considered.

Pustatičnik committed to informing all bidders of the outcome within 15 days after the deadline for bids expires.

Bidders will not be able to physically review documents related to the brand until restrictions imposed in the coronavirus epidemic are lifted. If the situation does not change until 6 July, the deadline will be extended.

Adria Airways has been in receivership since October 2019.

Its bankruptcy estate has been estimated at EUR 6.2 million, more than half of which is represented by the title to its office building at Ljubljana airport. Other valuable assets include the brand, a flight simulator and a share in Adria's flight school.

In late January, the air carrier's operating licences were auctioned off for EUR 45,000 to Air Adriatic, a firm recently incorporated by Slovenian produce importer Izet Rastoder.
