The city's principal gay night spot is Tiffany. This Wednesday to Saturday club is most commonly visited by men of all ages. It can get quite busy on Friday and Saturday nights. It is located in Metelkova Mesto. The same building also hosts Monokel, a lesbian cafe, which is open on Thursdays and Fridays. Entrance to both clubs is free for foreigners and also for Slovenes who are members. However due to the recent problems that the Metelkova complex has been experiencing with its legal status, both clubs might be temporally closed. Even though K4 (Kersnikova 4) is not gay operated, it remains a legendary Ljubljana club that traditionally throws queer parties called "Roza disko" every Sunday. The parties start at 10 p.m. and finish in the early morning. There are several gay friendly cafes in the city centre, for instance the gay operated Kafetarija Lan on the banks of the Ljubljanica river (Galusovo nabrezje 27) or Gallery Fraga (Mestni trg 15), which is not strictly gay but is frequently visited by gay people. Those who find the Slovene climate too cold can warm up in the Gymnasivm - Ljubljana's gay sauna (men only), which is located in a small, converted house with a video room, lounge, snack bar, steam room and sauna (Ulica Pohorskega bataljona 34). Another option is to take a gay-led tour of the city of Ljubljana and Slovenia with personalized recommendations on things to do at the "Slovenia for Gay Travelers" webpage. In addition, there are several webpages where one can get the latest information about current happenings. One is the Slovenian Queer Resources Directory.
