Documentary on Roglič's Tour de France training presented

The film, produced by the public broadcaster RTV Slovenija, focuses on the 30-year-old's training for the most prestigious stage cycling race in the world, in which he finished 4th in 2018.

Roglič is ready for the race that starts this weekend although he suffered a nasty fall and a light injury in the penultimate stage of the Critérium du Dauphiné, the race considered as a warm-up for Tour de France, while being the overall leader.

The Slovenian, who competes for the Dutch Team Jumbo-Visma, is considered one of the main favourites, and the directors David Črmelj and Blaž Oman have been following him in recent months to get a sneak peek into his personality.

What has been captured on film is also the amount of effort Roglič invests in the training and the sacrifices he makes in the preparation for the gruelling, three-week cycling spectacle.

At the same time, Roglič's partner Lora Klinc launched at Kinodvor her literary debut - the book called Kilometre Zero, which speaks about her thoughts around Roglič's first win in a Grand Tour race - at Vuelta a Espana last year.

In a post on the cyclist's website, the author invites readers into a "red-coloured world, full of adrenaline and cycling deja vu, which tries to bring the fan frenzy and the world of cycling from the front rows closer to the public".
